This contract for DJ services is hereby effective and binding from the date it is signed by both parties and subject to the Booking Terms & Conditions.
The parties are hereby known as:
Timothy Hilario (DJ Tim Hilario)
(Hereinafter referred to as “The DJ”) and
the signee below
(Hereinafter referred to as “Client”)
Booking Terms and Conditions
1 Booking Terms and Conditions: This contract reflects the hire agreement between the Client and the DJ. This agreement shall be deemed null and void unless the DJ receives the booking form and reservation fee within 28 days of the issuing date. No alterations may be made to this contract by the Client / contracted DJ without prior approval from the DJ. By completing and signing this booking form, the Client agrees that they are making a confirmed booking and entering into a contract which carries their acceptance, in full, of the booking terms.
2 Payment: The Client agrees that a £50 non-refundable reservation fee is required to reserve the event date. The reservation fee is deducted from the total price quoted. The remaining balance is then required 14 days before the event. The Client understands that the booking is not confirmed unless the reservation fee has been paid.
3 Overtime Charge: Any extension to the agreed timescale in addition to the agreed performance time is charged at £75 per hour (or £40 per half hour), which shall be payable in advance before the commencement of the extended hire. Extension is at the sole discretion of the DJ.
4 Cancellation: The Client shall have the right to cancel the booking by serving upon the DJ no less than 28 days before the event date in writing. If the Client wishes to cancel this contract agreement for any reason other than an act of God or natural disaster, the cancellation will forfeit any fees paid.
5 Emergency Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the DJ cannot attend personally, the DJ shall endeavour to provide a suitable substitute offering a similar service at no additional charge to the Client. This clause does not apply in the circumstances detailed below:
5.1 Force Majeure: The DJ will not be liable for failing to attend a booking, where the reason for non-attendance or late arrival is caused by adverse weather conditions, road traffic accidents, acts of terrorism, or other unavoidable circumstances deemed beyond control. If this occurs, the DJ will fully refund any fees paid to the Client, including the reservation fee.
6 Setup and Pack Down Times: The Client will appreciate that suitable time for venue access, safe installation, dismantling and safe removal of equipment from the venue is required in addition to the performance time. Therefore, the Client and the venue will allow suitable time for installing and removing disco equipment (up to 60 minutes on each side of the booking times).
7 Safety & Security: In the event that an attendee acts in a manner which the DJ judges to be dangerous, threatening, or inappropriate, the DJ agrees to provide the Client with one opportunity to correct the behaviour. If the problem persists, the DJ may, without warning, cease providing DJ services and vacate the event. Please note: where the event may include guests under the age of 18 years, the Client is fully responsible for the behaviour and safety of any minors attending the venue.
8 Playlists and Requests: The DJ will accept music lists and requests received in advance and will endeavour to play a reasonable number of the client’s chosen requests. The Client agrees that the DJ cannot guarantee the inclusion of any difficult to source, obsolete or deleted titles either requested at the event or previously notified.
9 Acceptance: The Client's signature on this page indicates approval and acceptance of the entirety of this DJ Services Contract. Please note that the reservation is not confirmed until the initial £50 non-refundable reservation fee has been paid.
